St. Patricks Day In The Bay

Get your green on. St. Patrick’s Day is coming up and we cannot wait to celebrate. Even if you are not Irish, you can still celebrate with your friends at many events in the San Francisco area. San Francisco knows how to party, and we have found some great events throughout the next week. So go find your green shirt and beads, you are going to have a great time!

The St. Patrick’s Day parade is an event that everyone looks forward to all year. Green is everywhere as we see some of our favorite local floats and celebrities ride down Market Street. The St. Patrick’s Day parade will be held on March 12th this year. It is also super close to your home at The Wilson. The parade starts around 11:30am and features local officials, Irish dancers and more.

The St. Patrick’s Day festival is from 10am-5pm at the Civic Center Plaza. This festival features performances all day long. You can also participate in the traditional Irish activities along with food and beverages for you to enjoy.

This two day block party will take place on March 12th and March 17th. The party starts at noon and goes until late at the Irish Bank, 10 Mark Lane, San Francisco. The cover is ten dollars and features some great local bands both days. Grab a beer and enjoy these great musical acts on two great days this month.

Irish Bars

If you want to get your Irish on at a local bar, San Francisco has a few to choose from. You can always go to Kate O’Brien’s Irish Bar & Grill. They have features on Irish food all throughout the St. Patrick’s Day Holiday. Many other local bars have St. Patrick’s Day specials throughout the next week too.

We hope you have a safe and happy St. Patrick’s Day with friends and family in San Francisco.
