60 years ago, Larry and Jack Mitchell wanted to create the best ice cream in San Francisco. This idea helped them create the idea for Mitchell's Ice Cream. In 1953, they started with nineteen flavors, their flavors and business has expanded from there. The recipe for this famous Seattle treat is made with 16% butterfat creme and other ingredients that they have used since the day they opened.  Since 1953, Mitchell's has been famous for their Mango Ice Cream.
